- Angry. He felt angry after his accident. Jerry "yelled" at them; "bit her head off"
- Fearful. She felt afraid that Jerry was sent home without learning how to do anything. It meant she was now responsible She was "wondering","questions", "alone". Anytime there is something unknown, it leads to uncertainty-->fear of the unknown. She was concerned about their future and if she would be able to handle responsibilities that she was unfamiliar with.
- Sad. He felt sad he was having difficulty doing things for himself. Jerry was "tired"; didn't want to get out of bed; barely ate. These behaviors indicate a certain level of depression or sadness. Being sad is tiring and makes a person feel like they don't have enough energy to do anything (or motivation to do anything).
- Angry. Cindy was angry that her husband was taking it out on her and was giving up. She barged in the room. She felt he was better than that, just to succumb to his injury.
- Happy. Jerry felt happy after taking classes. He felt more independent. Life was getting back to normal. He was smiling again.
